Unfortunately I'm still in the technical aspect of things VS the musical. But it's still a fun adventure. I'm basically using the GT-10B as a MIDI and I/O control at this point and feeding a laptop running VST. On some patches I'm still using the GT-10B for some of the sound, others none at all. Seems counter intuitive to not use the DSP on the GT-10B considering that's what most people buy it for. But it's still very useful for signal routing and MIDI control, plus it has a tuner, and nice LCD for naming patches. In contrast the Behringer FCB1010 cannot do any of that, though the FCB1010 does have more MIDI control capabilities (latching MIDI CC, MIDI Note, scalable expression output, etc.) But I can actually emulate most of that in Plogue Bidule via it's many MIDI filter/morphing features.
Hopefully someday soon I'll have some sort of actual band/project together to showcase what it all can do.
