Boss GT-10B

Can you tell me the settings you use to emulate a Taurus with a GT6-B? I don't see it as even remotely possible...
The settings that I have found so far, but haven´t used in a band setting (so that´s why I have 2 different ones)
Wave: 43 or 40
Cutoff: 30 or 30
Resonance: 90 or 100
Filter Sens: 24 or 50
Filter decay: 96 or 30
Filter Depth: 50 or 35
Synth Level: 50 or 35
Direct Level: 0 or 0
Remember to turn on the chorus and some reverb as well, especially the chorus on a high level is necessary because the GT-10B PWM rate option, and since there is no more octave shift option, you will have to play the notes somewhere else on the bass, a 4-string bass has now E as lowest note, I don´t know how the tracking of the GT-10B is with a low B string.
Anyway, this is what I am going to use, the only alternative is
to buy a set of Roland PK-5 pedals with an additional sampler or synth which will be too expensive for the few notes I use in my band.

Thanks, but I was asking in regards a GT6-B, not the new GT10.

For the GT-6B I used the following settings:
Wave: Square
Octave Shift: -1 (I play four string basses)
PWM Rate: 13
PWM Depth: 100
Sens: 30 (depends on how hard you the strings)
Reson: 30
Cutoff Freq: 3
Depth +50
Decay: 96
I added delay (same type guitarists use) to prevent the sound from "dying out abrubtly)
No chorus, no reverb, but a tiny amount of Slow Gear, because the reaction time on the real Taurus is also a bit slugish.

I just played around and layed down some tracks with my buddies G10B. It is pretty amazing, the ability to USB audio in and out of your computer is worth it alone for me. Plug this puppy in, reassign tour DAW ins and outs and viola' you monitor your recording through your bass rig or monitor system.
Also, this has some of the best sounding reverbs, compression and delays in a Multi unit I have heard.

My local music store (screw corporate chains) finally got one in and they have my name on it. I'm gonna go try it and most likely buy it. I'll post a full review somewhere because I hate that there is a complete lack of information on this bad boy. BTW, I'll probably have a few pedals for sale!
That´s strange, because I have found more than enough info on the GT10B, including the complete manual.
Ok Eddy, there is information, there is just a huge lack on user reviews...I should have worded that differently. I want to know what people who actually play Bass think about the pedal...not what Boss has to say about it. That's what I meant.
Well, I have been using it now for a couple of weeks, so you could ask me whatever you like. I haven´t done a gig with it (we don´t do that many gigs, and now with the holidays coming, it will take a couple of months before any gig is coming on)
The biggest pro for me is the compressor section, I´m not using my EBS MultiComp anymore, because the Boss is just as good or perhaps even better.
The biggest con are the leds in the knobs which are so bright that you can´t read the writing that above them.
I would also liked to have seen a different display for the tuner, something with a needle like on the TU80.
I also miss an input for an iPod or similar device.
Overall it´s a step up from the GT-6B

Just picked mine up. Thanks for the info Eddy. I'll post a review once I have time. I've got a bunch of pictures I have to edit (I do photography).
I really need a multieffect, and want the best, so it seems as i should go for this one. But in the meantime, before i get enough money, i would like to read some more about it. all you guys in here who has it, Im really interested in all your opinions, especially opinions about how it is in normal use, ie only normal compression, slight distortion and so on.
but if any of you have links to any good reviews online, i would be happy if you posted them here.

I picked one up on Sunday. Hoping to use it to replace my EBS multicomp, BBE Sonic Stomp (probably not) and possibly my RBI. No review yet, but I have a photo. I've actually only had a chance to play it through headphones and into my recording setup at home using the XLR outs.
I just want to add that there is no comparing the sound you here through headphones, with what comes out the amp! First of all, what comes through the headphones is excellent stereo, and what most users will do is use the straight bass->GT10B->mono out->amp set-up, which takes away a lot of the effect, so for instance if you set your chorus effect to 60% effect level when using headphones, you will have to set it to 80% effect level to get a similar sound through an amp.
To answer the question on use, I don´t use much effects, just slight compression (so that´s always on, the multi-comp is excellent) I never use distortion (well just for fun to tease the 2 guitarists in my band, there´s a "guitar" preset that really annoys them
) other effects I use are a bit of chorus when playing fretless, some phaser and a lot of delay in 1 song.
I play in a Pink Floyd (and similar bands) cover band, so to match the originals I have to use the exact same effects, that´s why I use delay (One of these Days)

Yeah, I get spoiled listening to my bass in stereo, either through my headphones, or through my KRKs 
. I need to run it directly into my QSC and then muck around with different combinations of my RBI and the GT-10B.

I got bothered also with bright leds so I "customized" it. I suggest you to take a good black permanent marker and to completely cover uper side of effects knobs. Sides will stay transparent so you will have enough light but not one that hits you directly in the head. Pic included. Maybe you'll need few layers to cover it completely depending on marker but now knobs on my GT10B look like they are fabric made. Best thing is that you can undo it with some alcohol and cotton sticks.
