Boss OC-2 question.

I bought a used Boss OC-2, when I turn my pedal board on it comes on also, I have to press the pedal to turn it off. Is that the way this pedal is suppose to work? If not what would be causing that? None of my other pedal work that way.
Thanks, Jack

Hmm, my oc-2 (taiwan) doesn't. I do remember first one I had doing that...
Once read once the only diffeance in the MIJ vs tai oc2s' is the power supply that may explain it.

Mine is MIT and does this. I did have the older MIJ "Octaver" version but I don't recall if that one would as well? The only difference I recall is the older ones ran on 12 volts(same with other vintage BOSS)

Maybe some are different from the later era?? I really wish BOSS would just give this a proper reissue, it's so much better than the OC3

yes, I don't understand. So many other companies are trying to copy the original, why not just make the real original and sell it to us..
