Boss OC-2 question.

Some pedals default to On when power is applied. Not sure if there is any way to mod the OC2. I've seen people complain about that behavior before.

Mine always comes on too....you get used to it

My OC-2 always comes on when powered. My LS-2 is always off, polytune is always off.

Hmm, my oc-2 (taiwan) doesn't. I do remember first one I had doing that...

Mine is MIT and does this. I did have the older MIJ "Octaver" version but I don't recall if that one would as well? The only difference I recall is the older ones ran on 12 volts(same with other vintage BOSS)
Maybe some are different from the later era?? I really wish BOSS would just give this a proper reissue, it's so much better than the OC3
yes, I don't understand. So many other companies are trying to copy the original, why not just make the real original and sell it to us..
I had an MIJ Octaver and it did not do this. It defaulted to off.

I like to turn all my pedals on at power up just to see that they’re working. It’s a habit now for me. No adverse effects (no pun intended).

My OC-2 doesn’t do this, but my BF-3 does. Just how they configured the stateless switch.
All Boss pedals are like that aren't they? I mean as long as there is an input signal and power ran to it. My OC2 does the same thing. Even weirder, my DOD FX10 powers up most the time, then sometimes, it doesn't. Go figure.
