I like Woodford but I haven't tried their Double Oaked, have to remedy that.

I like Woodford but I haven't tried their Double Oaked, have to remedy that.
Been working through a bottle of Elijah Craig. It's decent, but there's others I like better.
I really like this one/eight haha but for some reason I dig the twelve better. Elijah makes good bourbon though.
I've honestly only ever had the black and white label. Neither are bad in all honesty, they're not as sweet as maker's mark and Jameson's - which I know isn't Bourbon, but it's in a similar price range and in all honesty is kind of my benchmark for whiskey that I dislike. But anyways, yeah, I'm certainly no pro taster that sniffs three different times out of his glencairn before tasting it - but I can dig it every now and then.
I experienced perhaps the most refreshing bourbon drink, ever, the other day. Ginger Ale, bourbon, and a couple shakes of bitters. I'm not one to drink mixed drinks, but this one was delicious.
The version I like is Bourbon, ginger liqueur, a bit of lemon, a good ginger beer, and the bitters.

Came away with my new favorite bourbon... Woody Creek Rye. It's unbelievably smooth and super delicious. There were a ton of other great makers there, but this one took the cake.
