Bourbon...

We hit up Feisty's Spirits in Fort Collins Thursday night, the first craft distillery in Colorado.
They have three different bourbons, and we tried them all. Impressive collection they put together, and decent prices too. $48 a fifth.
Another cool thing they do is have 375 ml and 200 ml bottles. $20 for the 200.
I wish more distillers would do that.

That sounds like a great experience.

I agree, we all could taste more spirits if there were 200’s and more 375’s.

Got anything open?

A buddy is at 4roses today on a private tour...was thinking about drinking a little of each of the 10 mashbills for some cyber sippin.
Oh yeah always.
They stay in the kitchen. Most of that collection has been long gone though.
Except the ER’s, Old Fitz, Fat girl Wellers, Old Scouts and that Rock Hill

Had my share of this over the weekend. Good stuff. Reasonably priced. We spent the weekend in lousiville Kentucky. It's a bourbon town , no denying it. Had others as well, too much to be honest.

We checked out The Whisk(e)y in Fort Collins the other night. 1,800 whiskey's to taste. Not a bad place. I was expecting the staff to be more knowledgeable about whiskey, but they weren't.
I had the Hillrock Solera and the Rhetoric 21 year.

I here ya. I went to a bar like that in Minnesota once and ordered my first ever Van Winkle and once the bar tender poured it for me, he commented that he’d never heard of this one before and commenced to a quick helping for himself straight from the bottle to his lips.
