And for those not quiet informed about the Ladder Theory, go
here.

"The Woman's Rating System

Money and Power: 50%

Attraction: 40%

Things Women Say They Care About But Do Not: 10%
(this includes intelligence, sense of humor, honesty, sensitivity etc. )"

How cool is that.
I'm not all that attractive. (Girls dont like that i look like Jesus)
Nor do I have all that much money or the bling to show of my richness - all my money went to basses...
I thought my intellignece, sense of humor, my honesty, my sensitivity and empathy were my trumps, and now this comes along... oh well...

Ok, I am currently involved in a pre-date relationship with this girl. We fooled around a couple of times, been to each others houses. However, we only talk maybe twice a week, see each other maybe once every three.

I am now interested in pursuing other girls. Am I required to give her a formal break up line?

Give her a heads up.

Say something.

usually i just talk to the guy/girl and we come to a mutual decision that we shouldn't be dating anymore. that usually works because as soon as they know i have a problem, they accept my decision, or we work through our problems.

HOWEVER. sometimes even the most direct forms do not work. for example. i told one guy (one very insane guy) in mid september 2 years ago that 'i can't be with you anymore' and gave him very understandable reasons (basically i couldn't keep up a long distance relationship). He seemed to grasp what i was trying to say, and seemed at the time to accept it.

a couple of weeks later i get a really nasty and abusive email from him saying that i cheated on him and i was supposed to still be in love with him. i was like '***???? i told you we had broken up'. but no, he STILL did not understand that we were over. he emailed my new boyfriend, all my friends, and posted on a message board we both go on ( ;) ) that i was a *** *(*"&£("*&&*!£*!)*$@?~ who broke his heart and cheated on him.

he still sends me emails occasionally about how much i ****ed him up, even though, i have IN MY FILES, the yahoo conversation where i told him our relationship was over (yeah i know, i broke up with him online, long distance calls are too expensive).

to this day, i don't understand what his problem was. apart from the fact that he is an insane pathological liar.

I'm glad the Ladder Theory's a joke.

Can you prove its a joke :p

It's way too one-sided and untruthful. :spit:

Well it writes more about women because women are harder to figure out. Also, he only views men as "********" who only want to get women laid... Apart from that, I dont think its that untruthful... it only has a "different view" on women  :smug:
