Can you prove its a joke :p

Well it writes more about women because women are harder to figure out. Also, he only views men as "********" who only want to get women laid... Apart from that, I dont think its that untruthful... it only has a "different view" on women  :smug:

that theory is such bs its not even funny! the main problem is that he uses too many false generalizations to even count, therefore making his whole theory balogna.

About a month ago, my girlfriend (now ex) was coming back from a trip from England where shes from, and a few days after she gets back i called to see if she was up for hanging out, and she said "You may not like what i have to say..." and basically told me she didnt like the comitment, and that she just couldnt be with anyone untill she figuresd her comitment issues out. Itds to obad things were getting great right before she left too. :(

If you have an open mind, you can accept the Ladder Theory and even try some of it's points on your own.

Also, you commented on how he doesn't write about the guys side of it, well, our side is summed up in what he says entirely (and don't lie, we all know it's true!), and if not, then what is missing can easily be filled in by anyone.

Read it again, and get something from it, cos even if you don't think it's all true, I can attest to at least 50% of it being true from personal, repeated expirences.

I was talking to everyone.
And my rebuttal to Gia goes abit like this:
Yes, you can say that because it's gender based that the conclusions drawn may be inaccurate. But in every form of life in nature, each sex has it's own rules it's to hold. For instance, just as an example, go back and read through it, except instead of humans, think about it being about dogs. I think then you may get more of the drift (not to call you incompetent or anything of the sorts, just mis-read perhaps).
I can see the argument of how other forms of life don't have intimate relationships - that's the entire point (not only of the Ladder Theory). It's our point to procreate and continue our existance as as species, just as it is for any other species (or if you believe heavily in Darwinism then the weak will not be able to reproduce and the strong will etc. etc.).
I never said that the Ladder Theory was true, or even endorsed it fully. I can see how some of thie things in it are vaild, and how some are vague. But look at the name, it's a Theory, and really can't be proven one way or the other. Theories are things people come up with, supported by some sort of evidence, and maybe have expirementation backing them, but until they can be proven to be 100% true, they remain theories, as the Ladder THeory will. If you don't like it, or believe that it's true, more power to you, I suggest you write an essay on how it's invalid. :D

Im with Gia on this.

Most differences in male and female behavior I believe are tied into social constructs and traditional gender roles as society portrays them. Only real exceptions I see are that a man is not going to have PMS on a monthly cycle and will never have to endure the burden of carrying a child for 9 months and then nursing it. Those are very minor however in the grand scheme of things.

Where do I fit in with this whole drive to procreate thing and passing on my genetic material? I plan on adopting.

I hate to tell you Nick....but even adopted kids are made from two people having sex ;)

[Becca, I want to talk to you tonight if you are around and Shannon doesn't call, or I might juts PM you]

My advice that everyone here should already know, but I didn't for some reason: Don't break up with a girl in bed. It's bad news bears. Especially if the girl is lying on your arm, you're pinned, she's crying... I was just hoping for break up sex... :rollno: I'm kidding of course. I was in a very strange relationship for my first big one.
