Like I said, they probably don't have the time to go through and check all of them. I imagine that if you send one back they will make sure you don't get a lemon the second time so they don't lose too much money in shipping (because they pay for you to ship it back). If you want an honest and correct answer (I'm going by what I've heard) then E-mail Kurt and as him. He will gladly respond, he's a nice guy.JSCHRO7376 said:Now let me get this straight, Rondo receives the merchandise packed from South Korea. They then just ship it out to the customer without opening the box to make certain that everything is alright?
So, what makes it then so certain that, if I return the faulty bass that I won't get another "dog"? If it is Rondomusic's business just to check the returned complaints it makes me wonder what kind of policy they have? In my experience it's a lot cheaper and more sufficient to check each and every item personall and make certain that everything is in order. Rondomusic would save a lot of money in shipping and gain more satisfied customers, that's what successful business is all about.
I did a lot of exporting in my life and personally made certain that the merchandise was 100% in order before I ship it out to the consumer. It's easy to get a bad reputation. South Korean manufacturers do pretty good jobs if you as an importer are "on your toes". Good examples are Conklin GT-7s, Cort Artisans, etc., etc.
Not only IMO, but it 's a fact: If you provide shoddy merchandise to your customer, your quality control stinks, no matter in what country your manufacturer is located.
