You’re not getting out of the pedal jump that easy.

I should get my 15/6 out of storage.Brought the SSDI out to the studio last night and played it through an amp for the first time. Into the return of a Streamliner and a fearful 15/6. In short, It. Was. Glorious.
SSDI continues to impress.

I just finished a 12/6 yesterday. Going to try running the P-15 into it via the effects loop of my berg forte. Probably gonna bust out the SVD too and see if I can rattle some stuff off the neighbor's wall.
P15, Berg Forte, fEarful 12/6, SVD... you're not hurting for good noisemakers.I just finished a 12/6 yesterday. Going to try running the P-15 into it via the effects loop of my berg forte. Probably gonna bust out the SVD too and see if I can rattle some stuff off the neighbor's wall.
Exactly. Or close enough on the attainment scale. ‘69 GTO Judge.Looks like a Sunray with wheels.
I've never tried micing mine. Never had to since its so stinkin loud. You know what I've been kinda jonesing for cab wise is a Dually. Big 'ol 2x15 with Faitals... I like the 15/6 a lot but I don't like micing it.
Sorry, back to Broughton

I'd think that you'd want to either close-mic the woofer and mid driver separately, or place one mic a few feet out to capture the blended sound of the cab.

I can only imagine the Synth Voice + fEarful combo will sound righteous. I'd try it myself but my 15/6 is buried in the garage.
I think the RFE needs an overall volume knob! I'm using mine as a stomp effect to change EQ midsong and I'm getting a huge volume boost when I turn it on the way I have it set. Sounds great but I got it to use for this purpose and it's not going to work I think
Agreed. It has to be always-on or nothing for me, because I get a large bass and volume boost when I use it. That being said, I have no intention of ever turning it off once dialed in, so it's kind of a moot point. But I can see where it would be helpful to have a gain.I think the RFE needs an overall volume knob! Has anyone here tried the Nobel pre VS the P15 and/or SSDI?
