Broughton Audio Super Thread

Where do you guys leave the volume knob of the p15 when you want a clean tone with a passive bass?

I love the hair it gives, but it seems to break up rather early (around 12 a clock with a pbass) If i want it totally clean i have to cut it back to 10/11 ish and bump up the gain quite a bit on the receiving device (SSL interface).
Even with the hottest of passive basses 12 is still rather clean, that's also with the bass at 3 and treble at 1 o'clock. Remember the EQ is "interactive" as well, I'm pretty sure turning each of those up with cause your hair to come in earlier as well

Mine's at about 12:00 currently, but I like it a little dirty. And the P15 is literally just the first step in my usual recording chain gain staging.
For the project I'm currently working on, it's P15>dbx160a>Strymon Deco>UA API Plug.
