more than another (I think) it depends how on if a certain someone I pleaded with, begged to get this individuals preamp pedal still has it. I failed. All’s well that ends well. The other person is a given.

I’m in a small town. The Fire Department is about a kilometre away at most and my band played the Black Top Hop that they put on annually so they’ll get here quick. With some beer, I could probably talk them into setting up beforehand.
This thing is friggin awesome.
The responsiveness to the controls and also the preamps responsiveness to your playing and other effects is very cool. It’s like it’s alive. Love the mids on this baby.

Awesome isnt it lol, mids are my fav too - do you pull the treble down like that to compensate something upstream? and that master, you must have a high input, I'm still piddling with passive - studio boost sounds stupid good running into it, might as well have just added that to the unit
I just quickly turned the knobs until I got something I liked and then jammed with that.
I didn’t want to be futzing around too much during the jam. Used passive basses. Some hotter than others.
my setup is pedalboard -> archetype-> rfe -> two notes cab sim M.
I didn’t use the rfe though. The mids on the archetype remind me a lot of the range of the mids on the rfe. Very very nice.
That reminds me. I need a studio boost.

I tried RFE, sounded fine but at the previous settings it just kind of cleaned up things, didn't really add anything. Monocomp all squishy sounded good with drive though
The sunray sounds nice and thick into it.
Solarian and the Fliptop boost sounded great too.
I feel like I need a second archetype since there’s so many tonal options. It would be cool to have two going. One dirty and one clean. I’ll probably do this for fun with the p-15

I don’t think Josh keeps one of everything he makes. I would but he’s smarter. Why have all those potential sales just sitting there? Besides he has @nshuman for a physical archive. He probably mostly has all the prototypes kicking around for use or reference.
Speaking of cars. I went out and started the truck and the race car this am. Neighbor was a bit unappreciative of a 383hp Honda being fired up at 5am.
He might of thought you were cutting the grass too early, Honda's tend to sound like lawn mowers LOL
