Dang. You could get four Fliptop Boosts for that kind of money. I mean, if they were in stock. Therein lies the rub.
The Boost is now worth a straight trade for a Sunray. Is the Fliptop the new basic currency fir Broughton?
What else do you need? I already sent you something.
Shouldn’t be too much trouble. But I need to see the car next time.I need moar toanz.
Even worse... now there's a picture of them both on top of cabs. I hope you have a plan for upgrading the ramps.
Why'd you end the Sunder ad on Reverb? We were getting a kick out of it.
There was about 12 seconds yesterday afternoon where I considered it. I knew I would hate myself either way… Turns out that’s kind of true but I do have 500 more bucks in my bank account because of it.

So you’re the only one that I know that has the Archetype pre pedal and the Archetype Preamp. Would you say they’re like having an SSDI and a SS, in that the tonal fambly is similar but the power and grunt sets it apart?I’d have to hire a crew, now we’re talking about the necessity of a landing ramp and change of location. I don’t see it.
On Another note. After taking a little break. My second spin with the new pre was great. It’s got great range and power. Real pronounced. I recall someone saying how they could feel the notes from their lunchbox and I remember that feeling when I had mine. This is that too. It almost feels like it tightens up your playing and makes your attack more deliberate cause you feel the next note coming. Everything at noon is a perfect setting and starting point. I moved the knobs a bit but ultimately made it back to noon. It’s commanding with its mid range. Again so touch sensitive it’s almost feels like you can control the entire range of it by digging in or not. As I type I can hear a faint radio station being picked up. Brings back memories. Very cool. Liking it so far.
I thought the same thing when @Somnambulance posted that he should sell it...I threw in an offer and recommended we do the transaction outside the verb but I got ignored. I figured it was more of an exercise in creating entertainment for the OGs anyway but I would like to check out the Sunder.
I know that BroTones do actually trade hands for $500 on rare occasion, but don’t do it. Buying at those prices feeds and encourages, plus the odds are ever in your favor that you will take a big loss if you decide it isn’t for you. I love Josh’s work and pedals in general...I’ve got well over 100 pedals and a good chunk is Broughton, but Sunder ain’t a one off and even if it was...$500 for a fuzz pedal...well that’s like chase bliss but without any bells and whistles. If you are srs about paying $500, just say it and I am sure you’ll get PMs...just like when someone hints at letting go of a Broughton results in PMs.

Or are they quite different?
