If you use a credit card, the exchange rate is usually much better than what PayPal uses.

Huh... I guess I better keep that in mind. I just hate using a credit card... (goes to PayPal to review payment options)...

Shipping is the same $20 USD pretty much anywhere in NA afaik. Yep. We pay more due to having to pay the exchange rate.
Does it bother me? Yes.
Will it stop me? Nope.

Omni was $15 USD to VA. And I think that is what it normally is.

Indeed we do. 13% is a lot of tax, but there is no denying that we get stuff. It's hard to complain - I was just generally supporting the notion that the Ominicomp on Reverb was probably not priced for much more - or no more - than the guy paid for it.

There's some instructions up top once you are in the Cart Checking Out.

"Note: You do not need a Paypal account to check out. Simply click the Paypal Checkout button, and a new window will appear with payment options. You may use a debit or credit card for payment."

On the plus side you Canadians get "free" healthcare.

You also get to wait 6 months to see a specialist in most fields due to all our educated professionals bailing to the USA for a larger pay check. There hasn’t been a Dr accepting new patients in my little town since I moved here in 2016.
But yes, the MRI that I waited forever for was no charge.

I like the idea of paying taxes and getting stuff. I feel like most of my taxes in the US go to giving other people stuff. And national defense (which is getting more important by the day).

But ignore me. I'm just a bitter small business owner who paid a metric sh!t ton of money to the US gov't last year (metric sh!t ton to me anyway, but in the grand scheme of the US tax code it was a mere drop in the tax bucket).

My dad had rotator cuff surgery last year. He was having surgery within 2 weeks of the doctor deciding that is what he needed. The sticker price was over $100K, for what amounted to a 90 minute surgery. Fortunately he has Medicare and a very good supplemental plan and it cost him nothing.

Yeah, I didn't know how much you guys got hit. At that point I'd almost ask Josh.. well I don't want start something that could get annoying but, there is always other options.

I've always thought, if you could personally apply how your takes are used, more people wouldn't take issue with paying them (not insinuating you do, just a general statement), not that I want to even get into that convo.

Meh, I only had to plow the driveway 3 or 4 times all winter. Depends on where you are.
it’s 20 deg (68f for you luddites) and trees are budding and birds chirping today.
Personally, the weather in Hawai’i is my soft spot. I think Hawai’i should be part of Canada. I’m a start the process to acquire it.
