I really like those, I've been thinking about getting one for a while now because I hear good things and at a good price. You are not helping, if I came home with a new bass the wife would not be impressed.

They're kinda controversial at the moment due to them seemingly not actually having humbuckers, mini or otherwise, but mine is quiet and sounds great for the money.

I just had a pedal take only 4 days from Switzerland to southern US, really surprised me

Gentlemen, it's been a while.

Sorta thinking of grabbing an Omnicomp. Curious whether I might like it more than my 76CB. I mean... probably not, right? I probably don't need it... right?

Also curious about the Pink Wonder which will adorn the website for the next couple weeks...

I bought the Omni expecting to flip it since I have a Cali CB.

The Cali CB went from being kicked off the board and onto the floor, to now being kicked under the bed and out of sight.

IMO they are different enough that they don’t compare well vs each other because they sound so fundamentally different. The Omni had an organic warmth that I would miss if it came off the board.

I’ve owned a few compressors but am far from an expert. I definitely think the Omni is the best compressor I’ve owned minus one or two. Mainly the original empress and a Cali76-tx. It is a very very good sounding compressor. Good luck for those of you trying tomorrow. It is worth the trouble of obtaining it.
