Oh, and it is 86f (30 degrees for you metricians - i think i made that word up) here and we had two mild snows this winter that didn't require any shoveling.

On January 16th I was standing in my driveway looking at green grass at about 14 degrees Celsius, and wondering if we were going to see winter. It arrived the next day and we had about 10 weeks of nasty. I can deal with that.
I was meaning ask Josh if it was close enough for a refund/restock (If the new purchase didn't work out), but those worms better off staying in the can, for Josh's sake

Well, apparently my Omnicomp has made it to Winnipeg as of yesterday, but "Delivery may be delayed due to extreme weather".
Overall this storm has not amounted to be even remotely close to what they were predicting. I'm still holding out hope I'll have a new compressor to demo over the weekend.

You get any weather reporters rage quitting and giving random biznezz advice to Environment Canada?
lol. I was shocked to hear that as of Monday/Tuesday this week West Jet was preemptively rescheduling flights for Thursday/Friday, before the storm had even started. I'm not sure who gave them that bizness advice, but if I were West Jet I'd be seeking damages from Environment Canada.
Sure you would, because you know it's just gonna get sucked into the Marianas Trench eventually. You should focus more on selling us California, because it's going to be ours after the next "big one" along the San Andreas fault.

A handy pedal indeed. I keep it because despite not using it much more myself I find situations where I can add it or loan it out temporarily for a show, people stuck playing through obsolete cabinets etc. wherever it’s needed and it’s worked out great. Folks I’ve introduced to it we’re amazed and end up buying one for themselves half the time.
