LOL Adam - that pedal wasn’t even highly thought of in 2015.
@Derek Williams - the BEAD is a pretty great example. The Malekko is another well executed example. My personal favorite remains the Maestro but I am biased for sure.

Our memories are different on that point. Obviously VFE has had some ups and downs but it's an interesting pedal with a lot of control options. No idea how it compares to others, though.
I think I'm just going to have to get a Maestro to compare. For science.

This one has been on my brassmaster radar for a while and haven't got round to picking one up mainly cos it's gigantic and I have no space for it, but also a bit pricey to have shipped to Canada.
I do have a Malekko Diabolik which is nice and small and my BEAD will arrive at some point. I have my fingers crossed for the Maestro drop so I can compare those 3.

I assumed it would be coming from Europe They seem to do a few batches a year that go up on Reverb periodically and don't sell out super fast, I also read they can make them in a smaller box.
Maybe I'll get round to dropping an email eventually, depending on how the Maestro drop goes.
