Bugera bxd12 - hi power combo - ghost product?

No you're right. Deception comes pretty cheap ;). If I had no budget to work with I would give it a whirl. Something to be said for low cost gear, just really don't exaggerate or over promise? Many of their products sound darn good for the price point, why not build on that :D.

Sad really as people are starting to become believers in their newer stuff - X series and some of the speakers and such.
Don't exaggerate nor produce marketing blurb full of "turbo dynamic hi gain bandwidth circuitry" or similar claptrap. Those B copywriters have an amazing ability to say nothing in 10,000 words.

That aside, I would love to hear one and be able to lift it!

One thing I can say about the "The Music Group" is they tend to greatly pre-announce products, and have huge lead times before availability. Still, With the movement of technology today they still manage to keep ahead of the pack in technology, quality, and value. It may be that other companies just sit back and wait to see what "The Music Group" does first before they announce their own next products.

I'm going to guess it's pretty light. Guessing about 30lbs or so?
Going by the 1/4" jack, it looks to be 1/2" wood, and Bugera seems to be using plywood these days.
It would be a ceramic drivers and Bugera makes their own, but I don't think it would be massively oversized magnet.

Looks like they modified the Behringer BX1200 cabinet specs a tiny bit to put a different amp in it and 2 smaller ports on the back instead of one large one on the back. I have 2 of the BX1200's that I use for large stages with KNOWN good FOH and FOH operators(I EQ low end out of the 12 and use it mainly for mids & highs, get lows from FOH and drummer's monitor). Been thrashing them for years and they work fine BUT I do use a handtruck. I like the addition of the compressor and DI.

For an extension cabinet, you could(void the warranty) and split the internal speaker cable. The BX1200's have a speaker jack that wires from the head via a cable into the cabinet.

NOTE: I use my handtruck for this heavy little MDF box.
