I know who I can talk to and who I've had issues with. I'm trying to avoid future issues, that's all. I'm tired of the status quo.
If it was already pointed at your ears, then you tilted it in such a way it wasn't, which is basically a weird thing to do, then it would indicate what you think is low end is actually midrange. No unknown for people to confuse what they hear and words to that extent. Its why words aren't very good for expressing how stuff sounds.

I've noticed a loss in low end just by tilting a cab back. So decoupling is a real thing IME.

Tilting a cab back that was already pointed at your ears would indicate you either flipped a cab on its back to point at the ceiling, or were laying on the floor to start with. With your head on the floor you''ll feel more lows from mechanical coupling, and described in the barefaced link, but after you moved the cab, it will be decoupled from the floor mechanically due to being tilted on corners and whatever is propping it, so you'll get less skull vibrating. Also, mostly only useful to test if you assume people will have their head on the floor, or you want to check how badly your cab is made.
If you pointed the cab at the ceiling, odd choice, but yes, the midrange thing.

I'm not sure I understand how you moved the cabinet.
It's also possible that other boundaries other than the floor are coming into play, which may affect both the low end or the mid/high end depending on where both you and the other boundaries are located.
It's not uncommon for what you hear to be caused by something not as obvious as it seems. This is why I always recommend stepping back to be sure to correctly identify the problem or cause before attempting a solution.
