Buzzard's Bass - DO NOT to business with him!!!

Wow man, that really sucks. I have actually perused his site before thinking I would buy something from him eventually. Not anymore. Anyone who has been around and has a "business" like that online and that uses CAPS that much to try and get his point across while practically yelling at you and telling you you are a scammer and a thief, thats bogus. Thanks for posting, I wont be doing business with this guy anytime.

All I can say is good luck but personally, I would write it off as a bad deal and walk away. My experience with him wasn't as bad. In fact no communication at all. I ordered some stuff, he sent an email saying the items were shipped. A month later and nothing was received by me. I started a dispute. Another month later, Paypal refunded my money.

I contacted him last year to see if he would remove the active electronics from my MIA Jazz Deluxe and set it up passive with new Lindy Fralin pickups and new pots. I told him that since I lived a few miles from him, I would drop the bass off rather than pay shipping. He responded by saying that he works out of his house and that my presence there was unnecessary and unwanted. He also said that it was impossible to wire the bass the way I had asked. I sent him an email asking for an explanation as to why it couldn't be done and included responses from other places, all of whom said they could do the job for me. He responded with a series of profanity laced emails in which he accused me of "calling him out" and made several threats to kill me. I kept the emails and informed him that I would be forwarding everything to the police if he ever contacted me again. He ignored that request and again emailed me and threatened to kill me. I contacted the police and the threats stopped. I ended up bring the bass to Guitar Doctor in Whitman, Massachusetts and they set up the bass exactly as I wanted.

He threatened to drive to Canada to kill me IIRC. I believe I posted in a previous thread that he wasn't the kinda guy I would ever do business with, or something to that effect. Nothing more than that. I guess if I really p!$$ed him off he would kill my entire family. Class act though!

And this guy keeps emailing me outside of eBay even though I asked him not to.

Haha, he better hope the police don't see the 100s of complaints online about him! AFAIK, under the very recent new ebay rules, sellers are now required to pay return shipping (as well as refund the original shipping along with the item refund) for "items not as described" cases. This guy gives a bad name to Brians!

Let me know if he's coming & we can prepare a proper Canadian welcome...

I just read the title of the thread and thought "somebody else just found out."

Is that your real name OP? I would think there has to be some legal issues with him using your name (and "the scammer") on his website. That is a serious essay even by Buzzard's standards, you must have really yanked his goat.

Yes that's defamation. Contact an attorney near him, spend a few bucks and sue. Sounds like the a**hat needs a lesson in civility.

Also, geez, just read that rant. Why are delusional folks incapable of using spellcheck?

That is my real name and home address he put up on a public website..
I have several family members who are lawyers and a judge.
I rarely like to see people in jail unless they really deserve it but I'm going to go through the entire eBay procedures on returning a damaged item first.
