Buzzard's Bass - DO NOT to business with him!!!

I just found this thread to late and I am dealing with this guy currently. I purchased the same color Candy Apple Orange Jazz bass body. The neck pocket is a bit oversized, my Allparts neck and 2 Warmoth necks don't even work. The neck pocket is so sloppy.
I contacted him, sent him pics, and he still thinks it is an issue with the necks. Hmm 3 necks, and none fit properly. The neck pocket is to wide when I measured it, but he is persistent it is not the body.
Sad thing is I even called Allparts, terrible customer service and quality. The sales rep even admitted all the Candy Apple Orange bodies they had in stock, had poor fits. But, he told me a fellow associate said the neck pocket was a little to loose, but has owned Fenders with worse fitting necks.
I guess I learned my lesson about Buzzard Bass and Allparts.

I don't know the guy - I've never done any business with him.

When I used to sell music gear, the suppliers would occasionally send me a list of 2nds and returns etc. - and the prices were ridiculously cheap (like if list price was $200, I could get them for $25) because they had problems and it was up to me to fix them or use them for parts or whatever. These were never meant for me to sell on to a customer as new. (for example if I got a body cheap because it wasn't cut right, I could re-cut it or something and build a bass or guitar and sell the finished working instrument - cheap - as a non-standard instrument)

Well I have to say after dealing with Buzzard Bass and Allparts, both are shadey and I will never buy another Allparts product.
The Allparts sales rep told me the bodies they had, had loose fits and gaps, but then told Buzzard Bass the bodies are fine.
I guess that is why I prefer Warmoth.

He's a special one indeed.

I felt bad for him in the beginning because I know you don't make much selling items on eBay and I wanted to make sure everything was fair but more more emails I received from him the nastier it got and still no resolution.

He got really pissed when I opened a case with eBay! I can't wait till this is over with. I don't even feel like building this jazz bass now.
I had everything ready from a geddy neck, custom shop jazz pickups, badass bridge, black pickguard, and sadowsky pre but I may go another route now that he put a bad taste in my mouth.

Where did you get the badass bridge??
