He posted it on his website.
Good thing he added an extra number in my address
a libel suit and the publishing of a private residency without your permission on a public site... yep, you've got a valid civil case if you're so inclined to pursue it. Criminal if he threatens you with bodily harm. Best of luck op, hope you get a resolution to this mess.
True.. but this is not a database, it's on a business website- release of "customer" personal information without the consent of the customer is illegal. Given the context with which the address is provided it is even more troublesome. Totally agree with your assessment of the seller though. An individual's place of resident is considered a matter of public record so I doubt that the fact that he published it will be an issue. You can look up anybody's address in an online and in many cases in a city or town database. The guy is a dirt bag though.
If I were in your position and I had the funds to do it, I'd go after him hard. It's wouldn't be cheap though. This guy's obviously a douche but you're gonna end up spending a lot of money if you pursue it this way, though it would definitely be satisfying.a libel suit and the publishing of a private residency without your permission on a public site... yep, you've got a valid civil case if you're so inclined to pursue it. Pretty amazing. That guy is a throwback to the days when lunatic sociopaths were allowed to thrive on ebay.
Thankfully (and for several years now), buyers don't have to put up with that crap nearly as much. Buyers are guaranteed to get full refunds from bad sellers, including shipping both ways, as Paypal will refund return shipping as a separate refund, if necessary.
The only question is how much guff you're willing to put up with before initiating a claim with ebay. For me, it aint much. One or two uncooperative contacts from a seller....BAM, I file the dispute. Life is too short, and I know I will get my money back so I don't hesitate.
Cuz they didn't pay up. I've dealt with the BBB at work. It's shenanigans....in my humble opinion. BBB accreditation can be bought...for the right price. The other place you can report your grievance to is the Better Business Bureau, but sadly, or shall I say, not surprisingly, the business is not BBB Accredited.
Internet sales often uses a "fullfillment house" who actually warehouses stock and ships for a number of internet sellers.I've heard only bad things about that buzzard...
& Why does ebay let sellers list items they do not have in their possession?

The reason for Buzzard Bay is that's where he started out Buzzard Bay Massachusetts, he moved back a couple towns inland from the bay.Just on principle I've never done business with any establishment that has the word "buzzard" in their name. Good to know I haven't been missing out.
I don't even think it's a legitimate business at all. If you look through his website you can tell.
Especially about who to make the check out to. I'm sure he avoids taxes too
low rate of $100, and then tosses on $35 for shipping.
