I'd like to start a Poetry Running Contest - Users would post poems, at the end of the week comes a poll to vote for favorites. Is there any way to create a poll in a reply?

I certainly hope so!

From finely crafted sonnets to lecherous lemericks to tanka, I'm sure many TBers have a poet's heart. It'd be fun to parade the troubadours.

No, forum software does not allow that. Your best bet would be linking to an external poll.
