Can my new amp catch flame?

I got a new Fender rumble 15 watt amp, and was wondering if it could catch flame? If so, how high can I go, before it does???

I am not going to mock your question. I think some of the jokes you are getting may help you see that you really don't have much to worry about.

If you hear distortion, turn down the volume. You will also find that it will depend on how high the volume is on your instrument, how hard you play, and the position of the Bass and Mid controls, and possibly the tone control positions on the instrument.

Simply put, if you are distorting that little 8" speaker, sooner or later it will fail. Unless there is an electrical fault in the amp, I don't think you have to worry about fire.

However, you obviously do not want to get the amp wet or operate it near a fireplace, space heater, or heating stove.

Also, you should learn how to use the aux/headphone feature. You will probably get a better idea of how your instrument sounds through headphones. :bassist: :D
