What strings are you using now? How does it sound tuned to BEADG? I would try a set of Kalium strings, email your tuning and they'll recommend a set. They have the only B/C strings that sound as clear as the other strings to me.

Lakland 5 string basses are 35" and 19mm spacing. I have an ebony fretboard on my fretless neck, so they can do it.
You can contact them and ask if they can make you a bass with fretted ebony neck.

This may sound crazy, but actually a Squier Deluxe Jazz V bass is damned close to your spec. It's the only Fender/Squier 5er I know of that has 19mm spacing, and the black ones (at least) have an ebonol (synthetic ebony - I have it on a Gibson Flying V and it's not crap) fretboard. OK, it's standard Fender scale, 34" not 35", but, heck, it's $380 new.

NS Designs CR5 has an 18mm string spacing.

The issue definitely isn't with the fretboard.
F# will be a little dark whatever you do.
It can be somewhat fixed with proper string jauge (.150 at least for the lowest) and pickups other than Bartolini (they're a bit dark by design), Nordstrand for example.

either of these fit your specs Warmoth gecko(custom parts bass) on the left and Spector Forte5 wide on the right the board on the spector is pau ferro not ebony but it is similar in tone and feel but they can be ordered with ebony, the neck on the spector is thin and fast like an Ibanez but not as much of the flat plank feel that I get when I pick up a BTB and it has a more articulate tone than the Ibanez as well, I believe their is one in the TB classifieds right now

I currently have an Ibanez BTB575 tuned down a fourth (F#BEAD), and it works for me in all respects except that it sounds a little on the dark/muddy side. It has a rosewood fretboard. So does an LTD M307 (7-string guitar) I've owned for 13+ years, about which I've had the same complaint. When I switched it out two years ago for a Schecter - very similar except an ebony fretboard - I was much happier with the tone, so that's my reason for trying to find basically the Ibanez, except with an ebony board.

I'm aware of the Quake Knuckle 5, and it's exactly what I want in other respects too (extra-long scale and easy on the eyes). What else is out there?

Or should I just have my Ibanez' fretboard replaced?

Been using a ESP f-415fm lately for low stuff. It's 35" scale with emg electronics. Sounds great. It doesn't have an ebony board but it looks like the fretboard has been darkened so it's not red/brown they are pretty popular among low tuned metal bands. Suicide silence used them for their A tuning. Mnemic tunes down to f# and I've only seen the two bass players they've had play the f-415 and the surveyor which is ESPs stingray/p bass hybrid that also has EMGs.
