Carvin's BX1500 and B2000

Mine was supposed to ship out on the 25th. I called to bump up the shipping and was informed that the ship date has been moved to the "end of the week".

Patience has never been one of my strong points...I NEED IT NOW!! LOL!!:hyper:

The B2000's may be getting a facelift on the EQ labeling to show 0 at noon -left +right. It's the only thing that kept the B1500 from getting a perfect review in BP a few years ago. Center detents would be nice too.

Hmm... I guess I could live with that, but from the online pics, it doesn't seem like you can actually read the face plate very well anyway. Center detents would be nice.

They would be wiser to just ship it already! I don't care if it's labeled in descending Roman numerals from XIII to IV. It doesn't appear to be stage-readable anyway!

so, anyone selling their 1200?

I seriously like it more than the Ampeg svt4pro.

The 'industry standard' that says 'I don't wanna' any time my friend has the gall to actually try and use it.
Any lack of features on Carvin's part is completely negated by the price difference.

I really like the fact Carvin is made in USA, and they are putting out new products all the time. I own lots of Carvin PA gear, but their bass heads just arent EQ'd or voiced for what I'm looking for. (Can't seem to get away from my Ampegs!) I really wish I liked the Carvin bass amps more - I love the idea of the custom navy tolex option!

I recently started using a Zoom B2.1u pedal with my BX1200, and it certainly adds a variety of sounds including an Ampeg SVT model. I liked my BX1200 before, but I think I like it even more now that I have the Zoom. I do prefer the EQ on the BX1200, so I generally run the patches (other than the Slap ones) on the Zoom with a flat EQ.
