I got an Aguilar S410 last year that I use with a Mark Bass ll and a SansAmp VT for monster grind and punch. I sold my Avatar 410 and replaced it with the Aggie, which was a move that's worked out well for me. May I have a number please?

I ran my bx1500 with my LDS 15/6. Definitely a good combination. Loud and lots of versatility. Ultimately, I found I good a similar tone out of my peavey DPC 1000 + VT Bass since I always used the vt bass with the bx1500 anyway. So I ended up selling the bx1500.Received my BX1500 a week ago and I'm really liking this amp. Others have mentioned fan noise as an issue but mine is so quiet I wondered if it was actually running. If I put my ear behind it then I could hear it but based on my unit this fan thing is way overblown.
I also bought a Carvin BRX210 to use along with another 2.10 that I have. Historically I'm more of a large speaker guy so these 10's sound a little different to me. I get a little distortion at the low end that sounds a little like a mule, regardless of volume. I might be able to tweak that out but I have not had success so far.
Anyone have experience with this amp and the fEarful 15/6? I was thinking about replacing one of the 2.10's in the dual amp setup with the fEarful. I was looking at Carvin's 15 to stack with the BRX210 but size wise they don't work well. I'm looking for ideas...
I guess it just comes down to personal taste. I dug the warmth of the bx1500, and am not into trebly type amps.My BX1500 arrived Weds... and its going back on Monday. My BX500 sounds better and also louder (maybe I got a lemon, but this is the second BX1500 they sent me - the first one wasn't packaged correctly and the mute switch was smashed). The 1500 sounds like it puts a heavy blanket over my cab - just really hurts the top/high mid sparkle I get compared to the BX500
Good day all! Just joined today! Came across this post and figured I'd chime in...I've been getting the catalogs for awhile and finally sucumbed to a B2000 head and a matching 4-10 BRX(?) cab! Took it to an outside gig at a ball park, and my keyboardist either had an Acoustic 450, or a 470, (I'm forgetting which) and on less volume, and with a smaller cab, blew me away! I had to put it at least up to half volume to compete! Sent it back two days later, and since have found an Acoustic 370 head, and a 406 wide bottom (2-15's) my "mid-sized" rig. Played an outside gig with it, with the volume on 1, and it was incredible! ! ! ! Never going back. Another bassist in the band following mine had asked to play thru it, and of course I said yes; so I could go out and hear it. I play a Jazz, he had a P bass. And it was just such a classic sound! I used to have the matching 301 cab years ago, and also played thru a 360 as well before that. But, the 2-15's just have that something. (Original speakers too!) So, sorry to say, but go with Acoustic of old, even if it needs a little work, and you won't be sorry! Subjective, I know, but my opinion! Thanks!
Does anybody run 2 brx 10.4 cabs with either bx1200 one in each amp or b2000? Thanks all!
From what I've gathered so far the B2000 might be a good fit for my tone. There was a mention earlier in this thread about not cutting the treble control too much because of its wide Q dipping into the upper mids. Cabinet tweeter attenuators and good treble adjustments on a bass make this not such an issue but I was wondering what the low mid punch is like on the B2000. Does this amp deliver the goods with a nice solid boot to the chest? I'm considering this with a pair of fEarful-inspired 15/6/1 cabs (3015LF woofer/6ND410 mid/ASD1001 hi).
^ With the amount of tone shaping features you have on the bx1500 and the amount of power on tap, I'm sure you'd get a ton of clean, full bass. Of course, it also depends on the cab. With my 15/6 and bx1500 it got very loud, full and thumpy.
