I omitted it on a post earlier today and got an unnecessary lecture from an unnecessarily offended poster.

I'm not safe walking the mean streets of TBOT without an emoticon on my hip to keep the bad guys away. Maybe if we were in Canada...

A friend had a black cat named Lucifer, left by the old roommates when they moved out. This cat would steal the hot dog right out of the bun in your hand if you weren't looking. A little game of tug-a-war. One day we were standing in the street with the cat, when a big shepard spies the cat, and runs full bore at it. The shepard, thinking the cat's gonna take off, runs right on by the cat, because the cat never moved. Dog stops, comes back, cat rears up, scratches the dog on nose, and the dog runs away. Cat never left. Still funny to this day.

My boy Orange Juice has cleared my yard of all the neighborhood stray cats and possums for the most part (I imagine they get bolder when he's inside). One day my mom came by with her rat terrier (that dog refuses to stay home) and OJ charged out from under the house fully bristled right at her. The dog yelped and jumped back in the truck as soon as she saw what was coming for her. It was pretty funny.
