Thanks - they're something else, that's for sure. I love 'em. I think it is the warmth, partially at least. Also, it's not too often I have my gear in the living room...and they have to check out anything new in the living room.

I'd no more put up this picture for five minutes before she'd taken up residence between me and the computer monitorThey were not in the house more than 5 minutes when my cat decided to take up residence on top of them.
Cats always like to be the highest thing in the room.
I think it's a combo of the rat fur and the "height advantage."
Maybe she is just a huge SWR fan?
. Very difficult to get a biting clawing struggling kitten out of that port while trying not to damage the speakers.......![]()
or start at a low volume and gradually turn up. Personally, I used the low volume/turn up route and then set the cab tight enough up to the wall so I did not have a repeat. I had cat (Fred) for 18 years who loved music. He didn't like it, he loved it. Whenever I started to practice, plugged or unplugged, he was there within seconds and purred the whole time. I was looking for him one day, and found him sitting a foot from the neighbors grand daughter, looking up with undivided attention, while she practiced her violin. I even once tried a musical experiment with him. I have the Dish Network 250 pkg, that has tons of music channels on it. One day as he lay in my lap, I went from station to station to see what his reaction was. He was most at ease and purred the loudest when I played old soul music. He hated metal and rap. Now I know he couldn't really distinguish what was going on, but the smoother sound seemed to relax him the most. After much trial and error, his overall favorite was Simon and Garfunkel. I would play their "Old Friends" tour DVD and he would run, even with those old bones, to sit and listen. When he reached his end, and his old tired body was giving up on him, we sat down for one last listen of that DVD before he passed.
