Cheese Bass II, Too Cheesy

... I also like that even with the weird comments here, you're still a gouda sport.

It's a Saga. A Queso could be made that there will always be those who Belo or String you along. Colby that's true. Colby it's not. Either way, they're not your Budz no matter how much Cheddar they slice. You Goya get yourself out there no matter who tries to get your Goat. I guess in the end, Feta it's worth, as long as no one Triscuit me or goes crackers and puts Saltine the wounds, I'm in the Ritz and won't crumble.

Looking at that thing makes me physically ill …. it is repulsive.
I’m sorry.

No, no need to be sorry! It's the crayon mold, (sorry, mould) isn't it? Too scary realistic? Gosh I worried it would look too real and instigate pavlovian food allergy response -which can be a very dangerous thing. Lactose intolerance affects many. Milk gives me terrible asthma. Hopefully a pepto-bassmol will alleviate your symptoms. ;)

I just threw up in my (bass) guitar case

Perfect! What you do now is strip the hardware/elec off your bass, but leave neck on body. Next, smear the bass inside the case and be sure to get all the nooks and crannies. I hope you're having a long term heatwave as doing this next step in your oven at 400° for several weeks would suck. What you do is hang the bass by a tuner hole for several weeks in the Sun so all the puke solidifies good. You're now going to start brushing clear resin, (lacquer, etc, your choice) copiously over the surface. Every few layers, start giving some sanding to eventually create an entirely new caked surface a mm above the natural body.

Once your bass has it's final gloss, re-assemble the hardware and we can go gigging as the "Before and Afters"... Ooh, if we go metal themed and we could be "Re-Gurg-i-Tahhh! The Wreckining" OOH! Or how about "The 'Burbulations!" If we went punk, we could tour simply as "Puke". So many options! Can't wait!
