The origin of the spoon actually began in thread one, with post one.
The Deej, who is the original CWB, posted her with vs. without pics, and in the background on her wall were various instruments of pain/pleasure. Among said instruments was a salad tossing spoon, which cornered this attention
That's right, it was. That was so far back I forgot about it. Hey, I am middle-aged so the memory isn't always so good.

Oh well, I forgot the original origin but I think I had the overall spirit.

Hey, I was at my son's HS grad tonight and in the school band there was a "Chick with Bass." Might have been an Ibanez but we were a long way back. I thought about snapping a pic but then I thought that if she's in the HS band she's probably under 17 so I didn't.

from one of Tat's earlier travels ... I have no idea what the walkie-talkie was about but I still have the virtual t-shirt.:bassist:

And now I'm headed for Germany!!!! AND I'm going to these places while I'm there....

Then after Cologne, I'm headed to Madrid for a few days. I'm still figuring out what I'm doing to do there, but it will definitely involve at least one music shop with instruments and plenty of alcohol.

I didn't read this thread from start to finish, but what I did read made me ponder something.......

What exactly is this thread about??

It's about everything. And nothing. Chicks with basses. And chicks without. Bondage gear, shoes, walkie-talkies, good food, better gear, great friends, and the acceptance of who and what we are are - just like we are. Few rules. No trolls. And being there because sometimes we need someone to be there for us. And that's pretty much what this thread is about. IMHO. Oh. Yeah. And, SPOONS.

Well, maybe, if it meant that I got to give him CPR. :p

Or I could just bring an extra stun-gun. If you have two I think you can use them like a defibrillator. :p

Hey - when I've got a man twitching, I don't want it to be because of excess electricity. I really prefer throes of passion to electrocution. A good night means he passes out with a smile on his face, not an EKG monitor stickied to his chest.

The geek bag is almost packed - but here's what's in it....

  • 3 laptops with cordless mice
  • 1 digital camera
  • 1 video camera
  • 2 sets of headphones (1 with a mic)
  • iPod
  • 2 cell phones
  • enough cables and cords to connect it all together even without wireless
  • 7 flash drives
  • 3 chip disks (for the cameras)
  • 2 Nooks (1 is a gift)
And in varied checked bags between myself and my two co-workers - 14 boxes of pancake mix.

I'm going to miss you guys all, too, but I'll be logging on as much as I can to say hello and post pictures.

Is that what we're bringing to Cali too?

lmao....which one of us get to try to take that through security?:D

I'll take it. Here at my airport they're used to weirdness. We have Disney and all these theme parks that sell weird souvenir stuff. A bunch of spoons, a few dozen clothespins, 50 foot of cotton rope and 30 odd rolls of that colored veterinary bandage won't raise an eyebrow around here.

That just makes me want to hear what you have to say that much more. LOL. :D Not because I'd want you to be in trouble, but because I'll bet it's a really cool opinion.

That's been his post in about five different threads. He's trying to make a point or something about being banned over expressing his opinion.
Apparently, the recent holiday has brought out the trolls. :rollno:
