Chris Wolstenholme: The Sticky Ver. 1

I've been a huge fan of your sound, kaputsport and of course Chris Wolstenholme's too (nice songs you made with your band by the way :) ).
I wan't to make a pedalboard but I haven't bought all of the stompboxes yet. (I don't want to pay more than 200 or 250 dollars for each pedal though).

So heres what I have in my mind:

Bass goes to LS-2 which then goes to my amp.

LS - 2 Chain 1:
Boss OC-3 (might buy an OC-2 actually)
DigiTech Hardwire CM-2 (Do you still recommend buying this to kind of like replicate the Animato, apart from any clones?)
Boss OS-2 (For some Showbiz stuff, I think he used it on Showbiz)

LS-2 Chain 2:
EHX micro Q-Tron
Ibanez PD7
DigiTech Bass Synth Wah
EHX Russian Big Muff (Haven't found it yet)

Wah pedal + Boss DD-3 would be used sparingly

Do you recommend those pedals or should I buy other ones and replace some?

Looking forward for any tips/help :)

The OS-2 is a bit of a waste to be honest. I had it to try and get the Showbiz tones as well. The Hardwire CM-2 is meant to fake the animato tone I hear so you're all good there. The distortion on showbiz is minimal anyway. I hear it slightly after the first chorus in Muscle Museum then everything else just sounds like fuzz to me...

Other than that, looking good!

OK, sounds promising so far :D

I've allready got the OS-2, I just want to throw it on the board for fun.

I didn't read the entire thread but is there someone who is able to replicate the Animato sound beside using the Hardwire CM-2? To me it seems like the Animato is a blend of two sounds I'm more familiar with. There's the distortion part and a more "nasal" fuzz tone put together. Any thoughts?
