Joel....nice vid dude....band sounds great and the CAOJ looks KILLER! I love playing Webster Hall and the Studio always sounds awesome....

here's a vid I just found of us on the tour rockin in Des Moines, IA with Mikel Paris of OAR on keys and Kenny Bongos from SOJA....check out my bass solo at 2:28! You can hear how I'm struggling to get my hand in there for those really high notes and I've asked Jimmy if he would sand down the lower bout for me and he said no, so I'll be doing it myself after I get back home for a few days hopefully I won't screw it up! haha....enjoy!

Good stuff! Nice playing and a great straight up Jazz Bass tone. I really like the mid character of the RA models, not too bright, smooth... but you can also get a great slap tone from the pup spacing and maple board too.

Some nice vids from Joel and Mitch :D

I would get a nice 10" Cabinet Rasp File and take it down. .Then start heavy to fine sandpaper to get it to smooth out..
Functionality is more important than looks to me.. Or even cut the lower horn off

Just left the shop around 1, and Jimmy just finished putting in a new designed kbp4 pickup... Jimmy continues to develop his stuff, and I can say this new pickup is killin! More vintage influenced, and some "harshness" off the top end is gone. Loving it at rehearsal right now!

Yeah, I talked to Jimmy also. He's going to offer it on all the kbp's including the hippie basses.
