hmmm STILL have yet to try the DR flats....high tension? I already know how unbelievable a set of TIs would sound on it! damn....I could never justify having 2 KBP5s haha

Nice! .. Not sure, But I think that was a NAMM show bass from a few years ago... If it is the same bass, I almost brought that one home... Very nice..

This is a bass that Jimmy made for me back in NYC ... 2006 if my memory serves me right ... I took the plum crazy pbass instead ... it was lighter & more balanced ... I regret givin that one up the most ... but that's another story.
The sparkle bass amazing but I found it too neck heavy compared to my other AC's. Glad it's found a good home.

ok.. heres a couple of pics Jimmy and I took on monday.. i wasnt going to post em because i HATED the backdrop i used, and i only saw it once i got home, but..... i had to share this Plum Crazy KBP5... it may be the best one ive played... even over my own... its sounds fantastic!!! The other wasnt finished to play, but it looks amazing too!...
so again, appologies on the backdrop... trying to figure out how to keep one unwrinkled and clean in a dusty factory is kinda hard...
Rick, do you know the color of the LG5? I really like it!

its like a gunmetal grey. theres a slight bluish to it too... it really looks great. wish i would have played it.. i tried to white balance the photo as much as possible.. thats pretty close to the real color.

No offense, but a straight trade for a 55-94 for those basses. Not going to happen
I think this one ended up in the UK and has not been selling since MARCH at a price point which is trully a steal ! (at least for us europeans)

I don't want to be mean and certainly you can dream but a 55-94 goes for $3500 new where an LM5 deluxe is closer to $4500. Due to supply and demand a USA Lakland is typically selling used for about 50-60% of the new value where as an Alleva especially the LMs are selling for more then 75% of the new value.
If you kick in between $1000-$1500 you may have a better chance of finding a willing trader.
Not to sound mean right back at ya Pete... But I do know how much an Alleva~Coppolo goes for! I own 2 already and my LM5 w/ a 1 off ash neck (NOT A BK!!!) is irreplaceable.
and I have seen LM basses go for 3k and up!!!
