I've played a ton of them and this is one of my favorites I must say... Jimmy called it "memorable" and I agree.

Ok, so the real question in my mind, especially for someone who has more experience playing AC's except for maybe Kirk, is do you think the LG will be more your "home bass" and the potentially eventual LM more the alternative (like it would be for me), or the other way around?

hahah... Thank you... but i picked my wood out almost a little over a year ago .. and it may be the lightest Alder i have ever felt... Almost like spalted alder... will it neck dive?? maybe.. but it will pop out too... my kbp4 was getting lonely so i dipped in for this one...:) maybe by bass player live it will be ready..
Buy mine, have Pat Wilkins do a Shoreline Gold refin, still come out way ahead financially, ;)

Thanks Guys... I'm really happy with it so far.

Pickguard: I'm going 3-ply black to keep the stealth look - Jimmy had to order more material, he's out... Simple, beautiful & classy but does not attract attention. But I will also get a parchment/white one... Just not a big pearloid guy, it's too fancy for me... And I want to keep the focus on those block inlays!

@Chef: Vision is spot on, it's an iGig G315.

@Vic: Y'know what, I feel I'm connecting with this bass A LOT fast than I did with my old LM5... So maybe I'm an LG guy after all, at least I know I've always been more a Rosewood guy.

@Kirk: The bass is pretty BUT it's one of Jimmy's early attempts at painting so it's not quite perfect, but in my opinion that in itself makes it perfect... It's already Kirk-efied... Gig ready, no need to baby!

Two bodies out of paint.. Not sanded or buffed yet just plain paint... And the more i look at these, the more i lean towards the Sonic Blue instead of Shoreline Gold..

Pictured Below are Surf Green and Sonic Blue

I say surf green. I'm not sure that there is anything cooler!

My original KBP4 "Poudah bass" is Sonic Blue Nitro. I play that almost every day....But its not Daphne., It is turning slight Surf Green though... The LG5 Custom Classic that i got with the Oly white one was the Daphne Blue..
I sold that Daphne Blue LG5 to help a charity and no longer have it.

Looking forward to seeing your Green burst..

Nice bass, Yohan, I'd leave it alone as is.
Sonic Blue, Kirk. As I recall your KBP4 is Daphne Blue.
But most importantly, where's my greenburst KBP5?
