That sucks huge. I hope you recover quickly from all this so you can get back into the AC fray.Hey Gang ... Sad to say that i'm having to move both of my AC's ... I've had an accident that has torn up my left knee & am having surgery next week ... I need money badly .... The KBP5 Custom Modified is already posted & Bigg Redd will sadly be next ...
MOSDEF! +1!Good luck biggredd -- The good news is that basses are just stuff. They can always be replaced. Your health is much more important.
Very happily I've received my new KBP5. Well worth the wait, a lifetime instrument for me. Do not hesitate, Jimmy is the best.
I can't take a better pic than can be seen in the new "Colors" section of the A-C website, or the pic of Jimmy setting it up on the A-C Facebook page. Highland "Bullitt" Metallic Green Burst.![]()

I'm also really jonesing for a KBP5. I bought a new Fender P5 to let me spend some time in P land before plunging with the big dollars. I really like it and have been spending a lot of time playing it. I would love an AC p bass! Just a matter of time...
ACB0015 said:I did exactly the same. At the beginning of 2008 when Jimmy introduced the KBP5 I was stoked but couldn't afford, then I saw that Fender had brought out the American Standard P5 and I got one of those. Mine was Olympic White with tort guard and rosewood board, it was a really good bass. Then with Jimmy bringing on the big body concept for his 5's, I'm glad I got in for the "second generation" so to speak. Keep the goal!
Cool. That's definitely the plan. I have to say, the Fender I have is actually pretty darn good - especially so for the price. I'm sure I will like a kbp more when the time comes but this one is a nice placeholder.
