Jimmy wont be there SUNDAy since he is going to the Vintage Guitar show. But I'll be at the booth on and off

I'm actually in the feeler stage of selling my KBP4. Very torn emotionally, but some life events are occurring. B00016 here

Question ? Has anyone out there in AC Land ever had the pickups raised ( professionally done by a repairman where the pickups had to be removed and foam placed under them a la old Fender pickups --where the rubber has hardened over the years and needed replacement so pickups could be in effect adjusted up and down to height preferences for maximum tone and feel ). I use my LM only in PASSIVE mode and the tone I get is perfect for my situations as well as UNIQUE and uncoloured. I don't want to bother Jimmy until post NAMM...glad he's going and wish I could be there :) Thanks for any info.

Most of my gigs have been 5 string gigs lately but I got to play this baby yesterday and once again
realized there is not a better P than an AC! I have other P's (trusty 64L incl.) that are great but simply a different kind of goodness, not better. This one was rumored to be Mr. Weeks bass on tour. Aside from how great it sounds and plays, the burst is as good as it gets!
