Club Alleva-Coppolo (Part 21)

Think I put a set of BRITE FLATS on mine. Can't remember if they were GHS or SIT, or even another sort.

I like em tho
And, as always with flats on a 5'er, I use a round wound B string, think it's a D'addario

I have love hate relationship with the Dunlop MM's. I do love the tone of the strings, but I tried 2 sets and the strings died so quick that I only probably used it in 2-3 gigs.

I have noticed the same things with Dunlop strings. I tend to stick with Hi Beams for most of my basses but use Pure Blues for my P basses which I really do like as well.

I do like the AC strings on my LG5 though so I ordered some extra sets and plan on using those for now.

Hey guys!

I wanted to share a video with you guys. I'm working on a project to help out fellow church musicians who are transitioning into In Ear Monitor Systems at their churches or other places where they play. I have a few videos demonstrating possible mixes that would be a good general way to go about setting levels.

If you guys could take a look I'd appreciate it.
There are a few more videos in my channel like this one. They're all available for everyone to view. This video is the fourth one. I plan on uploading around 20.

Probably because build time is just as long on the hippy as the other models. Even though they are great basses, I think in this case the seller trying to take advantage of the time. Some might rather pay 5k instead of a 2 year wait. My two cents.

I guess you pay the fact that is a CNL fingerboard, super rare and even more expensive than before, also i do believe Jimmy has cnc programmed only for 5 string right handed jazz bass (that's what he told me this past summer when i was at his shop, hope to have understood well), everything else is done by hand. I requested a quote for a 81009 hippy dippy trippy and i got responded that now Jimmy offers a clear laquer sealer instead of hdt oil finish so maybe he no longer offer it anymore.

Great playing and nice sound!

I have to ask, what kind of signal path do you have here? Straight from bass to DI or something else?

Thank you. The signal path is simple, bass to tuner, then into a Cali76 CB, and into to Noble Preamp/DI, into the house. There are two pedals that are in between but they weren't on for this song.

Nice! I have the same pedals too! haha!
I play my Fodera Emperor 5 thru those pedals, but it doesnt sound as BIG as your sound! Also I got the same answer from Mike X Zuniga! I may have to get Alleva Coppolo too... :)

I don't use a Noble since I haven't gotten into IEM game yet. But my clean tone is essentially the same signal path. LM5 > Cali76 > Amp/DI. It's a wonderful combo.

Yeah, Agreed!
Almost 90% of my gigs are with IEM's. I can only recommend Noble, ALL the soundguys that I have dealt with have LOVED it :) Almost everyone has come to see my bass setup and ask "What are you using??" Here in Finland nobody almost never have heard of Noble. Its also really awesome when recording, heres my former Fbass thru noble only (I was endorsed by MarkBass back then so I advertised them too, dont tell anybody that its only Noble ;) ):

Dude with or without IEM's the Noble is so worth it. It takes my sound to another fat dimension. The difference is very noticeable in the house and even in wedges, and way noticeable through your cabs if you're playing through an amp.

I have to find a way to mount a Noble on my board. I currently have a pretty compact board. For now the OmniCabSim Mini provides me a nice way of providing non-sterile DI signal.
