I have an LM5 with 1 7/8 and another custom bass with 1 3/4 nut. Both basses have 19mm spacing. Overall I would say that 1 3/4 feels faster specially on the lower frets. The problem with 1 3/4 nut width is that it could feel quite cramped if you're used to the 1 7/8 spacing. I'd say the difference is noticeable, but not a big change.

Had this guy almost 5yrs. My most used bass by far. It's got almost every gig since I got it.

I can only recommend Noble, ALL the soundguys that I have dealt with have LOVED it :) Almost everyone has come to see my bass setup and ask "What are you using??" Here in Finland nobody almost never have heard of Noble. Its also really awesome when recording, heres my former Fbass thru noble only (I was endorsed by MarkBass back then so I advertised them too, dont tell anybody that its only Noble ;) ):

Here are the basics:

LG - Alder body / Rosewood Fretboard - However, lately Jimmy has been using other dark fretboards like Bacote or Ebony and still labelling them as an LG. Standard models are finished in Polyurethane and Classic and Classic Supreme models are finished in Nitro.

LM - Classic 70's Recipe - Ash body / Maple Fretboard - Usually white fretboard blocks and binding on a deluxe model. Polyurethane or Polyester Finish on the fretboard.

RA - Alder body / Maple Fretboard - Usually black blocks and binding on the fretboard on a deluxe model.
Standard models are finished in Polyurethane and Deluxe models are usually Nitro.

There are always variations of the above. RA's with Ash or Spanish Cedar bodies and LM's with Empress Wood bodies. Jimmy likes to experiment but tends to stick to classic Fender recipes.

Also (if I might add) LGs have '60s pickup spacing, while LMs and RAs have '70s. You might find an exception here or there, but that's the norm.
