Hi guys, I will soon stop posting most items for sale as I will be announced as an official Alleva-Coppolo Broker in the coming days.
Some or maybe many of you may know that Talkbass prohibits "Commercial Dealers" from posting their store items in the classifieds, and I need to follow the rules as my colleagues have. I will transition from a Gold Supporting Member to a Commercial User as soon as Alleva-Coppolo announces our relationship publicly.
Through this post's body, I cannot disclose my store webpage, store name, nor can I provide a link or "anything along those lines" - this per Talkbass.

Couple of A-C Q's for any player/owners with their ears up:
Mainly, I'm curious about the single coil pickups. I've quite a while ago given up on the Fender single coils for two reasons. First, I dislike the 60 Hz hum that always happens when panning off of equal volumes; second, I've had near meltdowns happen on big stages with serious lighting systems. One particular gig backing a top tier Las Vegas act, the stage lights came up at showtime, and I was panned slightly off of equal. I thought the bass was going to explode in the FOH; but, took me a moment to figure out I was the culprit.
Loving the sound in all the clips; but, still pretty hesitant about single coil issues. What's the line on this aspect? I hate giving up the panning flexibility when I run into bad lighting systems. Thanks for any feedback.

Ive had similar issues. The main venue I play for some reason doesn't like my favorite tube preamp DI, and strangely makes a whole lot less noise with my alternate tube DI. This happens with or without the use of single coils.
As far as the cycle hum specifically with single coils, Alleva singles hum, though less than other brands. Just last week we took out the stock singles on my friend's bass (can't disclose brand). As soon as we popped in the Alleva-Coppolo pickups, the hum was gone. Now, we still got a slight hum when rolling one pickup down but it was much more subtle than with the stock pickups of the undisclosed bass.
I will say I've never had drastic issues where the buzz is so bad that it's distracting. And it seems that the cleaner the electric setup in the venue, the less the annoyance.

@SamuelSandoval do guys have any with rosewood boards?
Are these available online?

Hi Scott,
Alleva-Coppolo basses are great instruments and are in my opinion the closest thing to the Fender basses of the 60's. There are many advantages to AC basses as you probably are aware. Jimmy's builds tend to have great rosewoods. Some even have rare woods like old growth Indian, African, Honduran and even Brazilian Rosewoods. I do have a few with rosewood boards at the moment. You can PM me and we can discuss options. I can give you links to see them more in depth. I believe I can't disclose pricing on here anymore, because I'm a dealer.

Build times really depend on availability and model configuration. Most orders are custom orders. Since I deal the Classic Supreme models, basically all of my orders are custom orders.
At the moment I have two in stock where you won't have to wait for the instrument to be built if you're interested.

In that case I specialize in Classic Supreme, and Limited Edition models are the holy grail of J style builds. We can talk more about the options in private.

Have any of you used the LA-1A by Effectrode? I've been pairing it with my LG's and the Noble and it is so buttery. I'm so happy with the effect the compressor is giving me. Anyone?
Between the compressor shootout and the Noble threads, I've finally caved on pedals after 20 years. I'm now building a nano "max" board and having to decide what stays. The LA-1A is the best compressor paired with an LG5 that I've tried yet. What settings do you prefer? It sounds good in any setting really, but I can't seem get the attack and knee quite right. My preferences seem to change every time I play.
Here's where I normally have it. Granted, I've only had it for four or so days.
