stellartone has some videos on youtube .. I saw it and ordered it immediately. I want buy another one for my RW P bass...

I really like that color!
Lighting was a little weird.. BUT its Almost done.. Thanks for the SUGGESTIONS guys on my Facebook page. I DID GO with the Parchment Pickguard instead of TORT-pepperoni... My Alleva Coppolo LG5 CUSTOM with body cut (Jimmy slimmed it down ). Old Growth Dalbergia Negra Brazilian Rosewood.. Its all made from Logs that i picked out.. . Bridge is custom Alleva Bridge made in the machine shop next door. . This must be my 7th one hence the writing inside the neck pocket.. LOL.. My last LG5 was trashed by a drunk wandering up on stage

I checked out the videos of the StellarTone and it looks awesome. I'm just wondering if it retains both the fully on and fully off sounds of your original pot? Also are you running flats or rounds on poudah?

This month i'm running ROUNDS on her. I guess you can put a PUSH/PULL switch in to use a POT too. I called the guy at Stellartone and he told me how to do it .. I know its HOneymoon phase but I rally dig this.
I like that it is passive.. It does stuff to my bass that i only was able to get when i go to a studio and they have a NEVE EQ.. it very different
This Stellarton is the newer 10 Step switch. in the first setting it is like a normal TONE POT Bypassed. So its like running the Pickup Right to the Output jack.. It seems like the high end opened up in a good way.. And the hi end opening up seems to make the lows go deeper. That may be a sonic illusion though. But the Top is DEF extended.
Click 1 or 2 and its like a regular Tone Pot with the control knob open all the way. So there is a slight top roll off.. ... You notice a drop in the top end. I like setting 4 or 5.. The bass stays there, The mids punch up a bit almost as if you had a Jazz Bass with the Bridge Pickup favored. You only loose top end but the mids stay.. Setting 7 or 8 seems more like a Low Mid push that might be good for motown type stuff. The last setting is deep bass. Sort of like an EBO with tone rolled down. but its NOT Muddy.. Just very DEEP sounding.. I thought that setting worked great with my Boss OC2.. Very Synth bass.. Wiggle the note a little and you have Stevie Wonder Mini Moog tone

Funny you should mention the OC2 as I was wondering about the deep setting and how it would work with getting synth sounds. Currently I can't use that end of the range for much else...but it does that so well.
I'm going to look into these more. I love the sounds I heard in the video. Not sure about my AC jazz bass though.

My friend Mitch Basses55 from Canada is at the shop today.. He is demoing my new built LG5, DN fingerboard, Les Paul Gold with some copper added Nitro, matching HS,
8.57 pound NO it's NOT chambered. Jimmy just has some great woods..

Hey is there something different going on with the headstock colouring or is that just the light? It almost looks parchment and gold.

Went to Jimmy's shop to pick up my custom build during my NAMM stay...the wait is over!

LG5 Classic Supreme- Alder, CNL board, binding, pearl dots, All Nitro Finish, Jimmy's new style bridge.
I went for Charcoal Frost finish but it turns out more like Gun Metal Metallic which I think it's cool as well, the bass changes color really well depending on the lighting.
The wait is pretty long for some reasons but the bass just turn out really out and meet my expectation from Jimmy, the bass has everything!
Jimmy is kind enough and considerate, he did some special works on my bass , since he knew I gigging pretty often, he just did that little gap between the body and back plate for easier remove the plate. :p
