I was in session with a metal player yesterday in Dallas at Modern Electric studios..
Gus G. He is OZZYs guitar player. I'm not a metal player. But the tracks came out great. I used my new Alleva LG5.. The neck is so stable!!! It's nuts .. Gus tunes down a full 1 step .... Im running Daddario Pro Steels on it thru an SVT the studio has on hand. .. Sounded great.. Tracking again tomorrow because i'm on a musical Play tonight. .
This LG5 does show tunes to death metal... amazing bass

If that one was Kevin's, it's an absolute killer! It has probably the best note to note consistency of any ash/maple bass I've ever heard, not to mention that finish is stunning in person.

Steve Araujo went to the Alleva Coppolo Shop.. Jimmy has donated some stuff to the Bass Hang GTG in LA next week..
Bass Hang Day at The Bass Exchange in North Hollywood on Sunday, April 10th from 3pm-7pm
I will also be doing a Podcast for Steve but this month turned into a very welcome work overload..
