Adding a j pup to my KBP4 CS... Sacrilege? My bass already has a jazz width neck - can’t afford an LG4. Don’t plan on ever selling this bass.

I wouldn’t do it but, it is your bass. If you’ll love it even more and don’t plan to ever sell it, go for it.

Count me in! Wait is over! Feel so good!
Im really excited...sound is full, soo deep and rich, neck feel very smooth, easy to play...it really went far beyond my expectation!!

The LM5 is a one piece Northern Ash, NYC era, and under 9lbs
The gold LG5 is the same vintage. It’s the first bass painted by Jimmy according to the note in the neck pocket. He interestingly painted stringers on the back of the neck which I think looks cool. Sweet, sweet tone.

Nice Kevin, I noticed he wrote acrylic urathane....I thought he started with polyester. Nice basses!
