Well, whichever one you choose - it will never be as thought provokingly terrible as the Scottish "Deep fried Mars Bar"!!!!!!

Or even worse - The Stonner!!!!!!!!!
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article94120.ece

I have to assure you that 99.9999999999% of Scottish people would not ever dream of eating these nightmares.

Saying that - and this is absolutely true - in the Scottish fish & chip shops, a perfectly "normal" item which is sold very day is a deep fried pizza served with chips (incidentally, "fries" are called "chips" over here. And your "chips" are what we call "crisps").

Now, to take this up a notch, you can also get your deep fried pizza served dipped in batter before deep frying - that one is referred to as a "Pizza Crunch"!!!!!! And no, I have never tasted this delicacy! hahahaha

mmmmmmm...... In n out!!!

we do have White Spot up here in Vancouver and it's good

Man, I saw this photo about a half hour ago 10:30 pm and had to run out and get a combo meal with a shake. Thanks, I'm gunna get fat.
Hey Bernie (and Sean & Chris)if you are reading this your bass (es) are on the bench (es) and in the works. I e-mailed you (Bernie) some photo's of the todays batch that I got back from my painter. I'm sure they'll be posted on this talk bass soon... OK, In N Out burger is done time to get back to work, I got a lot of basses to get out to you guys... Thank you all by the way!!! Welcome again to the "Famiglia"
Jimmy

Man, these basses are just wonderful. I love my new Sadowsky MV5, but I pulled the Alleva back out after the first couple weeks of 'bliss' were behind me with the new Sad, and it just felt like home (acoustically and plugged in).

These are just amazing instruments. That picture is just something! Lot's of future gigs and grooving on that bench!

Edit: Those of us who are total fan's of Jimmy should start a fund so we can pay for his Lipitor after all those burgers. We don't want him dropping over from a coronary until he has produced at least a thousand more instruments!

Edit2: That workshop is just too clean and nice. Jimmy needs to get some stank in it so that rubs off on the California basses just like the NYC vibe did!

oooo one of those ice blue might be mine! I bet that neck is mine, the one with no binding or blocks hrmm... What color is your's Bernie?

*Edit -> OOPS I didn't know yours was also Ice Blue. heheheh

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the neck and body is yours! Looks great huh?! :)

Good points, Ken! I dig that my bass has seen both of the shops. Jimmy sounds excited about it and I just can't wait to see it up close and personal.

I'm hoping the 3TS one on top of the pile is mine.

Bernie, were there any completed basses? A 3TS LG5?

Not sure on that one. I don't believe Jimmy has completed any basses yet in the Cali shop. Maybe he'll chime in and be able to tell you that.

Shouldn't be long now, guys!

That pic of the new shop does indeed look nice........it looks like Jimmy hasn't missed a beat as far as quality goes........ you guys should be very excited.......I still can't say enough about my RA and LG........they are just magic.........I'm serious.......MAGIC........

It doesn't seem that long ago that we were posting pics of your soon-to-be bass! Time flies and that's not always a good thing but I'm pretty content with it in this instance.. :D

i went out there last friday and played an lm 5 he had on layaway and ethan farmers marcus lm5. im looking for a 5 string version of my 78 jazz. heavy northern ash and all. the white marcus 5 came the closest but it still didnt nail it. the layaway bass sounded like my old hotwire when it had aeros in it. it was lighter like my hotwire so it had a little more air in the tone than im looking for.

the playability and feel of them is perfect, now it just depends on whether or not he can get wood heavy enough from his supplier. so spec wise, i want a 5 string version of this, but not just in terms of looks, but tone also.

When KJung first lent me his LG5, I took it home and was blown away with it.
And then I grabbed my fav of the bunch:

OOPS!!!!
I mean this one (my old Jazz!):

And said, it had better sound like this to be good!

And it did.
And I didn't want to give it back to KJung.
Offered him more than he paid.
Then went out and found my own!!!!!

Trust me, you want the old Jazz "thing"????
Jimmy has it nailed down cold.
