LG-AG-LM-Etc-
Can somebody give me a breakdown of all the Alleva model codes and what they stand for??
LG--classic 60's vibe... alder, RW, 60' pickup position. You can go all the way and get a Nitro finish to really cop that 1967 type thing (not sure of the exact date, but you know what I mean)
LM... Later 70's sort of thing.... ash, maple board, 70's pickup position
RA... meant to cop the 'transition' period early 70's Fender J vibe (edit: fixed this from info provided below)... alder (for a little more 'balls' while still keeping the weight low), maple board with glossy poly neck finish, 70's
The preamps have a passive bypass option, so it makes sense to get it included, with the passive tone control option on any bass that you get. It's a very musical, subtle, 'passive' sounding boost only pre.
I think I have that all right! I have no idea what the actual letters represent.
