I should have gotten that, I am an obsessive salt water flyfisherman but don't do much freshwater.

In all seriousness - if your LM was an RA, I'd be thinking a natural ash LM with black pickguard and blocks. Alas, it's not...
I think Hi Beams are a god next choice for your LM - that should resolve the compression issue.

It was a pleasure to comb through some of these photos with two feet of snow on the ground outside.
Way off Topic, but Ken is sick of hearing about "flats" and this is me fishing for striped bass on the flats. These rods and reels rival Jimmy's basses in term of quality and cost. Not to mention the custom made flats boat..
My wife is pretty used to all the toys at this point...For all you non NewYawkas, this is 40 miles east of Manhattan on Long Island....
In that case you are totally set - a "Marcus style" LM4 is clearly your next move.

I lived in Babylon / Lindenhurst for years... Love LI.. When i go to see my family i hit Robert Moses all the time.. even at the dead of winter..

I also do the majority of my fishing in the flats (less then 3 feet of water). Many are suprised that these pictures are from Long Island and not some tropical Island. Just about everything including music take a back seat when fishing season comes around...

When your out in the summer we're going! I used to take your buddy "Darkness" out on occassion until he moved. All those pictrues are within a mile or two of the FI lighthouse....
sorry for being a smart a$$ here, but does anybody else see the irony in a $4000 bass plugged in to a $400 amp? I'm just saying is all....
all joking aside though, I know those SWR workingman amps sound flippin' fantastic. I used to give my guitar player buddy a hard time about spending $3500 on a Les Paul to run it through a $100 effects pedal to get "his tone". haha...some seriously beautiful basses in this thread. Wish I was a part of the club. Maybe someday though.

+1 BIGTIME!!!! as soon as the snow falls, all I can think about is fly fishing season...what's up with that? That's an extremely nice bass btw! I'd ask if that's sink tip, but I don't want to derail the forum.
