Thank you.. it is rather reliced looking these day.. never mind my dogs name engraving on the back,,,:)
But the nitro is turning somewhat and it looks real nice in person..
And engineers cant believe its a P bass... it is just very present and focused.. There is a thread going on TB now about what bass would you NEVER sell.. that would be it. I hate to say never because Never is a looong time.... and anything can happen between now than then.. but in the immediate picture i would never sell that bass.
I really like your sonic blue KBP4, I guess it's a case of you always wanting what you don't have!

... It's my living room amp...
Can I get back in the door now?:hiding:

Aj
I saw nothing wrong with the photo, particularly because it was in a living room. I have two practice amps (one upstairs in my office, and one in the basement bandroom), in addition to my gigging rigs. I can't see burning down tube amps for home practice, so having good sounding smaller gear for home makes great sense to me.

Besides, as Zachbass02 was saying, it's about sound really, not how much we pay, and I totally agree that those WM rigs sound great.

All this reminds me of a Piccaso quote I came across years ago. He said that before a painting can be good, it must first be expensive.

There is an awful lot of interesting and true psychology in that simple statement.

Well the way i look at it now and these days. I need to be happy, i am willing to work with anyone, but they need to be willing work with me too..
You have to be happy! And i think you will notice a difference in a good way immediately.. and the sound guy, he needs to lighten up somewhat . IMO.. I was doing this 4000 seat church gig when i am home.. and they had a sanamp DI.. it was fine really.. but then i brought my REDDI and didnt tell anyone, I just did it... and the sound eng couldn't believe how much fun it was to mix bass again..
So i would not say a thing to him...

Im part Italian and you know,... the SVT DI could always have an accident . If you know what i mean:rollno::);)

That's it. I'm doin' it. :)

He's just amazing!

TOTALLY dig the white/mint guard with maple board and perloid blocks with the Surf Green (never been a Seafoam fan.. the darker green if I have my names right...., although Seafoam with tort is sweet)... BEAUTIFUL. They all look great.

Alright guys, I did it. Just got off the phone with Jimmy and my LM5 will be shipping out on Monday.

It is the Bigg Redd, Jason's old bass, and I am friggin dying to get it. I am going to shoot Jason a PM to let him know. Hopefully he will be excited for me as I grew up the next town over from where he group up. Nice Xmas gift to myself I guess and I am hoping it gets to me for my gig on Jan. 3rd.

I suppose I'll need a number, and I'll have to post pics ASAP.

Irish and from Boston,,no wonder you can't spell.

Having guiness for blood is hard on the brain cells.

welcome to the club,,,er famiglia ,,,sweet bass.

BTW Jason is from Everett.

Aj

Haha point well made. Guinness for blood is certainly hard on the speaking, and more applicable for TB, the typing.

Jimmy told me he was from Everett, which is hilarious because I grew up on the Everett line in Malden. I then spent most of my time, as I do now, in South Boston/Dorchester.

I sent him an email, and hopefully I'll hear back.
