I think there is something big,,,,

I've been waiting to pass the tease.

About a month ago I spoke with Jimmy about new stuff,he told me about the skunk stripe.He hinted at new stuff.

Jimmy wouldn't tell me what it is but he said.

"Something new ,that's all me." He said he'd let me guess.I went through all kinds of fender like permutations including G&L and musicman ideas. Never got it.

.... what many of us have been waiting for.....




.... amazing, and I can't believe it is happening, (I'm kind of feeling a bit full of myself having this info!)....

..... the new A-C Bongo Custom (called the Allebongo5, or as I like to think of it, the Bongoppolo5). Pictures to follow. Yes, another win for Jimmy in his 'boutique classic' line of handcrafted instruments (Big Al 5 model coming in the summer... the Big Jim5)

The cool thing is, Jimmy fixed and updated some of the quirks of the early Bongo's, so his version looks just like a J Bass and has a 2 band EQ. Much better.... :D The Big Jim 5 looks the same as his Bongo model, but adds a third A-C single coil... but it is not connected.

Jimmy is really going in a backwards direction. Funny stuff. Still hoping to hook up with Ian to check out Big Redd II. I've yet to hear a negative comment, but can't afford NOT to check one out before putting in an order. Anyone have a LG5 they want to get rid of :ninja: ?

Him and i have had serious talks about that. EDIT... just not this namm. :bawl:
EDIT: The preamp would have to be completely different... not a big deal at all... just takes time..
