I've got a Gold KBP-5 that Jimmy thought he'd have back from paint about three weeks ago. Just getting a little anxious.

WOAH! That's pretty close to what mine will look like. Just mine will have standard rosewood (tho selected for darkness). The other thing is, it looks like you went with nitro on the neck. Body too? If that bass is anything like Tony's, it's gonna' blow you away.Wow, look at this bass. It came out better than I could have imagined. I just have to call the shop tommorow to arrange shipping. (I'm thinking overnight)

The first bass is my LG5 with DN board, the Shell pink LG5 is for Hajime and the Candy apple red maple neck is a one off RA5 with dots for Paul Taylor.
I think I see an Ice Blue body in the stack.
Looking at it again...it might be green.

Vic-It is nitro all over. I've played 2 AC's with a nitro finish and they both felt great. The finish is in another league than some other, quote, nitro, unquote, finishes.

AJ, the last few weeks for me were the WORST......but rest assured, when it does come back from paint, it takes no time to complete.....shouldn't be too much longer for you......try not to think about it (yes, I know).............

The top one is Daphne Blue and the one below is Sherwood Green Metallic.

Beautiful!!! You'll love that beauty. Doesn't get much more classic than that.

Ace is right. It is hardest at the end. But when you receive that ship confirmation and it arrives it's all worth it! Yes, i think there was an off white body and also a gold body in the pile.

I knew it was a green body I was looking at. My RA-5 will be at BPL so it will be finished before November 1st.
