Yep. The seller has gotten in touch with me. He was unaware that the bass had been stolen and was selling it as a favour to a friend. Hopefully this will have a happy ending.

How do I get a owners club #? I purchased a RA-5 from the TB classifieds this x-mas pasted and love the sound/playability of mine (so much so that I have been scheming a way to get another ).
I ordered a bent bridge from Jimmy just to check out the difference of it compaired to the hipshot. I really could tell the difference though I don't think it a great match for the RA. Now I can see where it would shine with an alder body/rosewood board.
I am thinking of letting the bridge go (new condition, installed once and played for a week). I know this not the thread for items that are for sale but wanted to give the AC brothers and sisters a heads up before I posted in accessories. Cost: 260.00, I'll let it go for 200 shipped.
If I order an alder/rosewood AC without doubt I'll go for the bent bridge option.

NICE! I was never a fan of blocks and binding... too over the top and busy for me. But that binding with dot markers is just PERFECT with that bass. That's one of the nicest one's I've seen.
While I really am an ash maple guy, and my LM gets the most playing time, I do love my LG also... warm, fat, but still articulate, and as old school feeling and sounding as a new bass is going to get IMO and IME. Wonderful!
I hope my standard 4 won't be so over the top as It'll be surf green with blocks and biding, heheh

That should look GREAT! I was mainly talking about 5 strings, where the size of the neck and hence the size of the blocks can be a little 'much'. Pure IMO there.

No, this was a Four String piece (last one) that Tommix was going to have a P bass built with.
It was (I think) 4 months ago.

Sorry I am just getting in on this! Yes that sounds about right. You are right on I was going to have Jimmy make me a P with the last piece of Dalbergia he had. Could not have gone to a finer gentleman!
