my CB has finally arrived and i'm amazed how great it looks and how well it's crafted. i've never seen so much attention to detail with any other bass i've ever played.

i took photos right away with no color correction or anything applied. i hope you guys like it.

i haven't plaed it yet but will today:hyper:

Mind-blowing instruments, indeed!

I was thinking about a singlecut Holly bass for my next order - it really does look amazing!

Also, these photos are a good indication of either how crappy my camera is or my ineptitude!

Damn these are some great looking instruments.
Cliff is the man!
I should have a bunch of new live videos of my group and my zebra bordwell in action pretty soon. I will make sure to post the links here.
Once again... beautiful basses. Enjoy them in good health :bassist:

What are the electronics? Normally holly doesn't really do it for me, but I really like this one.

Hi,

It's a Nordstrand/Audere combo same as Tslicebass's Zebra bass I think. The volume is stacked with blend. Two 3-way switches wire the pickups in series/single/parallel, Audere variable impedence (Low-Z) and an active passive switch. The Nordstrands are Dual coils.

I'm really happy with the appearance of this bass. I like that the yellowish colour of the holly gives it a bit of an aged look.

I'm gonna post some sound samples soon. The low B string plays great for me. It is string thru body too.

LOL, same electronics config for me, too! I'm very eager to try out that config to see how many tones I can get from the EQ, Z-modes, and coil switches.

Perhaps Cliff should list this package as an option, so we don't need to type all of the bells and whistles.

It is a killer setup. I have been favoring the neck pickup on occasion lately and the tone is awesome... super fat and ballsy. Definitely more than enough useable tones.
We could call it the "you'll never need to buy another bass again because this setup rocks" setup... but that might be a little wordy too ;)
